Based in our 1817 Georgian farm workers cottage in West Dorset, our furry guests live with us as a family. No kennels, no purpose built outdoor accommodations, just in our home with us, like one of our own. Recently we have been making an organic move towards specialising in more gentle breeds or those who are older and require a calmer environment - but we do still have space for those who want to play!

We pay great attention to the individual needs of each of our guests, ensuring the balance and mix of dogs works in a home environment. We have 4 rooms downstairs for them to chill in, they can sleep together or have their own space and we have a comfortable crate if they prefer. 

​

The garden is split into two, providing a fenced, locked, safe and secure environment at the rear of the property for your dog(s) to play and run around in. Walks are a short drive away out in the Dorset Countryside - off lead preferably. If you require your dog to be walked on lead, no problem, we just can't take strong pullers (it hurts!).

​

Meal times are kept separate to provide a calm and safe space for your dog to eat, we also have downstairs shower facilities should they need a wash (outdoor dog wash coming soon!).

This an opportunity for you to meet us and ask all of your questions, plus a great chance

for your dog to have a good old sniff about and familiarise themselves with us.

The more we know about your dog, the better we can look after them.

And we ask all of our guests to be fully vaccinated, flee'd & wormed.

​

All we ask you to bring is their bed (we do have clean spares if you prefer),

their lead, collar with ID tag, food & any medication.

We are Dorset Council 4 Star LICENCE APPROVED (Licence Number 15107),

DBS checked, fully insured and Canine 1st Aid Trained.

Really sorry, some of these can be lovely but we do not accept:

Collies, German Shepherds, Jack Russells, Staffies, Cane Corsos, 

Rotti's & Irish Wolfhounds. Our Cockapoo books are now full.
